Joe Troyer: James Hunter asks, “How do you start a lead gen business in a big city like New York where the businesses have a lot of population and Google ads take the top listings with ads?” So essentially, James, what I got from your question, I wasn’t quite sure if it was, “How do I rank in Google maps for a big city like New York City,” or just, “How do I compete in general?” Right? Like all over in New York City.
Joe Troyer: So I kind of answered both. First and foremost, I go after like smaller areas. I go after the suburbs. Okay? Second, I would create a better ad or offer. Okay? Or better ad and offer. And then third, right? If that doesn’t solve it, right? And you’re not getting that steady stream, then I would start running call only ads, right? So that your CPA is less than your competitors.
